I’ve heard great things about Travis Denning‘s performance but I’ve never seen it myself! Well let me be the first to tell you when he swings through your town you don’t want to miss it.
This weekend Travis made his Chicago debut at the iconic Joe’s on weed to a packed house!
From the moment he treads down those famous stairs it was an electricity in the air!
Denning, from Warner Robins, GA, took the stage in first first weekend on the road!Denning kept the party going with Dirt Road Down, Jack and Coke, and Tank of Gas, before adding in covers of Picking Wildflowers & Dust On The Bottle. While some up and comers set lists are riddled with misplaced, covers Travis‘s Setlist didn’t miss a beat! Travis even did a medley of 90s country women! Any man that can sing Shania twain gets an A+ in my book!
Denning and his band were right at home on stage as they mixed in good times with powerful lyrics. Plus, Travis is a true showman, showing off his impeccable guitar skills during many jam sessions on stage.
For me it’s easy to tell when an artist heart is truly and what they do. Travis left his heart on the stage and the crowd ate it up last night as he close the show with his first number one song "After a Few" and fan favorite "Abby"
This was easily one of my favorite shows I’ve seen at Joe’s! Y’all don’t want to miss him when he swings through town. Click here to see upcoming tour dates!
